The Lido people have built a massive Russian restaurant just off of Maskavas (Moscow Street) whose colourful interior of elaborately painted oak beams and hanging matroshka dolls puts one in mind of Slavic fairytales. Although all of the classic staples such as dumplings and borscht are available as well as Russian brews and even rhubarb juice, most of the food can be classified as appetisers. Take trams N°7 or 9 to the Kengaraga iela stop.
